Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician – Power Generation to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, and repair on diesel and gas power generation equipment at customer sites.

The role requires up to 60-80% travel, strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to document service activities and provide clear recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanical or technical trade school + 3 years of field service with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel and gaseous power generation equipment.
• Commission, start up, operate, and test generator set systems and document performance data.
