Conair, part of the PiovanGroup, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, demonstrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across product lines. This role involves on-site customer support and office-based tasks like service reports and expense documentation.

Supervisors may base the technician in Franklin, PA, or a home office with travel, including international locations. Responsibilities include startup, repairs, and preventative maintenance, plus after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial equipment or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Solid communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and software code.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, repair, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot problems during repairs, startups, and assessments.
• Coordinate travel to jobsites and manage expenses.
• Provide on-call after-hours technical support and remote assistance.
• Document actions, generate service reports, and update records.
