Job summary

Copeland seeks a Field Service Technician aligned with our Cudahy, WI operations to commission, troubleshoot, and support customers in the field and via phone assistance. You will work with Copeland and Vilter teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial refrigeration and field work, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to travel up to 80% across US/Canada. Physical demands include lifting up to 70 lbs and occasional evenings/weekends travel.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification and industrial refrigeration experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial refrigeration and 5 years' field experience.
• Knowledge of HVACR controls and MS Office for service reports and scheduling.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to travel freely within US/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of Vilter industrial refrigeration compressors and natural gas compressors in the US and globally as needed.
• Coordinate and assist Copeland subcontractors with preventative maintenance and warranty work.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution with support from Engineering, Parts and Service teams.
• Conduct/participate in technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development when possible and participate in joint sales calls.
• Become a trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries.
