Job summary

Coric Equipment is seeking an experienced forklift technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience in a shop or field setting. The role involves diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, or overhauling mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulate boom equipment used in construction.

This is an hourly position reporting to the Shop Service Manager. The job includes reading manuals, disassembly/reassembly with hoists and tools, routine maintenance,

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as forklift technician or automotive technician in shop or field settings.
• Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and related heavy equipment is preferred.
• Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Read and understand manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure proper performance per specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
