Job summary

Coric Equipment seeks an experienced forklift technician with 3+ years of shop or field experience. Automotive technicians with dealership background are encouraged to apply.

Diagnose, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom machines used in construction. This is an hourly, full-time position with a remote work location.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting– determine causes of operating errors and decide action.
• Equipment maintenance– perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Equipment selection– determine tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Installation– install equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoist and hand tools.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly for proper performance.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
