Coric Equipment is seeking an experienced forklift technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience in a shop or field setting. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom equipment used in construction.

Work is performed in-house in a shop environment, with a direct report to the shop service manager. Ideal candidates bring strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting, determining causes of operating errors and repairing machines or systems.
• Equipment maintenance: performing routine maintenance and determining maintenance needs.
• Information ordering and manual dexterity for precise assembly and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoist and hand tools.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
