PALFINGER is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to service customer truck-mounted equipment. The role is remote in Hartford, CT and reports to the Regional Field Service Manager.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting with a high degree of independent judgment. Requires 3 years of mechanical experience with cranes/forklifts, English proficiency, a valid CDL (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), and your own tools.

Competenze

• 3 years of mechanical experience or training with emphasis in articulating cranes and forklifts.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Must have a valid CDL driver’s license or willing to obtain one within 60 days of employment.
• Supply own tools.

Mansioni

• Perform field repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks and trailers.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance per customer schedule and Annual DOT inspections and warranty service.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs during working and non-working hours.
• Communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to the job site and/or fleet managers.
• Prepare service documentation including estimates, work orders, parts, labor, and inventory records.
• Comply with state and federal safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly company vehicle and job site equipment and work areas.
