Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking two Field Service Technicians to service truck-mounted equipment in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area. You will perform field repairs, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections, with a focus on articulating cranes and forklifts.

Candidates must have 3+ years of mechanical experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. A CDL is required or obtainable within 60 days. The role offers growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 years mechanical experience or training with emphasis in articulating cranes and forklifts.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Must have a valid CDL driver’s license or willing to obtain one within 60 days.
• Supply own tools; PALFINGER proprietary tools will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, truck-mounted equipment, conveyors, trucks and trailers.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance and annual DOT inspections.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs.
• Communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to job sites and fleet managers.
• Complete service documentation including estimates, work orders, parts and labor records.
• Comply with state and federal safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly company vehicle and job site areas.
