Job summary

Veteran Hiring Solutions is seeking a Remote Field Service Technician to support critical centrifuge and screening systems nationwide. The role begins with 6–12 months of paid training in Cincinnati, then transitions to a full‑time field service position across Chicago and Wisconsin, with travel to customer sites and mentorship along the way.

You’ll work with senior technicians, perform teardown and rebuild in the training phase, and later diagnose mechanical issues while documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
• E4–E5 veteran or early‑career technician with hands‑on mechanical experience.
• Willingness to travel nationally after training.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Possession of a basic mechanic’s tool set (specialty tools provided).

Responsibilities

• Master centrifuge systems with senior technicians.
• Perform teardown, rebuild, and inspection in training Cincinnati shop.
• Travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance, and repairs after training.
• Diagnose mechanical or vibration issues in high‑speed rotating equipment.
• Document service activities and communicate with customers.
• Represent the company’s professionalism, safety, and reliability.
