Job summary

LECO is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Western Region, providing maintenance, repairs, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation. The role requires travel up to four overnights per week and the ideal candidate resides near Denver, CO.

A $5,000 signing bonus is offered. The position emphasizes remote work with the majority of time spent at customer locations while ensuring compliance with safety and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or trade school preferred.
• Prior military experience with technical training preferred.
• Equivalent work experience or training in a technical field required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation.
• Perform new instrumentation installations as well as updates and upgrade kit installations.
• Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs.
