Job summary

LECO is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Southwestern region. This remote, salaried position involves travel up to four overnights per week and supports service activities at customer facilities across Texas and Louisiana.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation, with ongoing training at LECO in St. Joseph, MI. A two-year technical degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

Two year technical degree or trade school or equivalent.
Experience with AC/DC electronics and electrical schematics is preferred.
Willingness to travel within the Southwestern region and domestically.

Responsibilities

Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation.
Perform new instrumentation installations and updates or upgrade kit installations.
Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices.
Maintain accurate inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs.
