Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Field STEP Sales Representative to support the Boston, MA territory in a remotely-based role with significant travel requirements. The program includes an 18‑month rotational development path to build clinical, technical and commercial skills across Core Surgical, Gynecology and Hernia portfolios.

Qualified candidates will have a health care or life sciences background and the ability to relocate within the United States, with up to 75% travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, clinical, medical device, healthcare, life sciences or related field.
• GPA and relocate ability are desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical procedures and provide product support in operating room environments.
• Develop clinical and technical knowledge across Core Surgical, Gynecology, and Hernia portfolios.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and customer accounts.
• Assist with sales activities, territory planning, and product conversion initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and priorities.
• Analyze territory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with leadership to understand hospital structures and decision processes.
