Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to join our claims team. You will meet policyholders in person, explain coverage, assess damages, and guide them through the claims process with compassionate, practical service.

This remote-field role covers GA territories with travel to sites, using mobile tools and Xactimate to document findings. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with emotionally charged individuals during inspections or claim resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries promptly.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support claims handling.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits.
