Job summary

State Farm seeks a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner, commercial, and large-loss claims. You will meet insureds on-site, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with a focus on remarkable service.

The role requires field inspections, collaboration with agents, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely from a mobile office with occasional travel. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately to real-world situations.
• Proficiency using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims in the field and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Investigate and adjust property claims with exposures up to $500,000 and negotiate settlements within policies.
