Job summary

Alfred University seeks a part-time AUNY Field Placement Assistant to support new york city metro area counseling programs. The role is mostly remote and involves processing field placement agreements and updating records in Watermark system.

The position runs 12 months at 7–12 hours per week with a pay rate of $16.72–$17.68 per hour. Some evenings may be required; occasional in-person meetings near NYC may occur.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with 5 years of data processing experience.
• Available at least two days during the week (Mon–Fri) between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm to interface with university personnel.
• Occasional evening work may be required.
• Primarily remote with possible in-person meeting up to twice per calendar year in NYC area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the AUNY field placement email account.
• Organize field placement agreements into the online filing system for review.
• Build field placement agreements in Watermark system after approval.
• Notify students of approvals and created placements.
• Route emails to appropriate coordinators and Dean's Office.
• Maintain efficient electronic filing and record-keeping system.
