Job summary

Iowa Soybean Association is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to support the AgOutcomes team. The role collaborates with staff and farmers on low-carbon feedstock programs and biofuels services, while ensuring high-quality data and conducting field compliance checks during peak seasons.

You will provide conservation and agronomic guidance to enrolled farmers and maintain strong farmer relationships, emphasizing proactive engagement and technical support.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in agronomy or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Midwest cropping systems and conservation practices.
• Capable of working in a team environment while working independently to achieve project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process data and field boundaries from farmers enrolling in biofuel programs.
• Verify climate-smart practices to determine farmer compliance with contracts.
• Maintain understanding of low-carbon feedstock programs and CI-based payments.
• Provide technical assistance for agronomy and conservation practice implementation.
• Perform QA/QC on all data provided by farmers.
