Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of professional experience in emergency management planning and response operations.
• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of professional experience in emergency management planning and response operations.
• Master's Degree and two (2) years of professional experience in emergency management planning and response operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recurring, in-depth on-site visits with assigned jurisdictions to oversee emergency management, mitigation, grants monitoring, and plan development.
• Plan and implement regional forums for strategic, long-term, and contingency planning.
• Provide technical assistance for all-hazard events to mitigate impacts on infrastructure, government services, and public safety.
• Designate a single point of contact for incident management implementation.
• Ensure all emergency response personnel receive appropriate training.
• Coordinate response activities across all levels of personnel and neighboring jurisdictions.
• Define specific organizational roles and responsibilities for all functions.
