Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking an HR professional to lead onboarding, payroll accuracy, and compliance for field operations in El Paso, TX. The role starts onsite for 90 days, then becomes remote with about 75% travel to project sites nationwide.

You'll partner with supervisors, HR ops, and site teams to optimize payroll, record-keeping, and compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of employment laws and timekeeping processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Experience coordinating detailed projects with deadlines.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time; adjust time entries and inputs for per diem.
• Identify payroll/timekeeping issues; fix root causes with HR ops.
• Hire and onboard talent for each project; share market insights to improve recruiting.
• Address employee concerns, workforce trends, and emerging risks.
• Lead HR compliance, documentation, posting requirements, and leave support.
• Maintain accurate employee records including changes and terminations.
