Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser - Catastrophic Loss to inspect and evaluate vehicles involved in losses across multiple markets. The role includes determining repairability, preparing estimates with estimatics software, and coordinating with repair shops.

Expect travel to inspection sites, CAT deployments during peak periods, and adherence to productivity and quality standards. A high school diploma and 2+ years in appraisal are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state licenses as required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience, with at least 1 year appraisal experience.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and ability to use appraisal software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify, and evaluate auto vehicles involved in a loss.
• Appraises and determines costs of repairs and salvage decisions.
• Travel to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepare estimates using estimatics software.
• Collaborate with auto repair facilities on supplemental processing and estimates.
