Job summary

Amphenol RF is seeking a Field Application Engineer 2 to provide technical guidance to customers, sales teams, program managers and internal stakeholders. This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates residing in the Phoenix area.

Duties include driving NPI activities, supporting sales with technical input, coordinating with global operations, traveling up to 50% as needed, and ensuring on-time delivery of quality connector solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive NPI activities through customer interactions in defined territory.
• Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as engineering resource.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50% as needed.
• Oversee on-time project delivery with design and development of connector solutions.
• Analyze environment, customer needs, and market trends to adapt and succeed.
• Coordinate with global operations for prototype/production locations.
• Drive Engineering Change Orders and New Product Releases.
• Build cost models with manufacturing and external vendors.
• Publish regional Engineering Action Reports to drive meetings.
• Maintain organized project files.
• Resolve technical quality and production issues in region.
