Job summary

nVent is seeking a highly technical lead for Data Center Solutions to collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering across the Central US and Latin America. The role emphasizes understanding how Power and Cooling systems fit together and delivering practical data center solutions in a remote-capable capacity.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in a data-center applications role, strong English and Spanish, and the ability to travel ~30% within the US and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering or equivalent experience in Data Center infrastructure.
• Strong English and Spanish language proficiency.
• Ideally 5+ years in a technical applications role supporting Data Center product solutions.
• Knowledge of Power and Air and Liquid Cooling in Data Center space is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain authority for nVent Data Center Solutions products for Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues.
• Evaluate customer RFQs and build costing/quotes with technical and commercial content.
• Prepare quotations and proposals of non-standard products using CPQ and ERP systems.
• Lead strategic projects for product improvements, cost reduction, and new product development.
• Represent nVent in industry codes and standards committees.
• Provide market intelligence and VOC feedback to commercial teams.
