Job summary

FARO Creaform in Newark, DE is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to operate as the technical lead, supporting customers and account managers with product demonstrations and tailored workflows. The role allows for home-office work with regional travel, leveraging expertise in 2D/3D CAD and blueprints to deliver precise applications.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical/Aerospace or related engineering, strong communication in English, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, related Engineering, surveying, drafting, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent understanding of 2D and 3D CAD.
• Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints.
• Clear oral/written communications.
• Good language competencies, English essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the resident technical and subject matter expert for customers, demonstrating products and solving applications.
• Support Account Managers with product demonstrations and create demo workflows.
• Coordinate and deliver technical training and support on-site, at customer sites, or remotely.
• Provide aftersales application support to meet customer requirements and train users on techniques for optimal results.
