Job summary

IQ Fiber is seeking a Network Engineer to help design, configure, and support our fiber-based broadband network. You’ll work with Juniper MX/QFX gear, Nokia routers, and Linux servers, with on-call duties.

You’ll analyze performance data, build detailed MOPs, and collaborate with NOC and field teams to ensure reliability and scalability across remote service areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with Juniper MX and QFX product lines.
• Experience deploying and managing a Service Provider network; certifications a plus.
• Experience with fiber optics, GPON, XGS-PON.
• Experience with BGP, MPLS, DHCP, VLANs, Static and Dynamic Routing Protocols, VPNs, VRRP, ERPS.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical requirements and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, configuration, enhancement, and troubleshooting of IQ Fiber’s core and access networks.
• Support field engineers in deployment and expansion of IQ Fiber’s FTTP broadband delivery network.
• Configure, manage, and optimize network monitoring and alerting systems.
• Create and administer MOPs for maintenance and upgrades of network equipment.
• Deploy and support public Wi-Fi network services.
• Provide tier 3 technical support as part of the IQ Fiber NOC.
