Job summary

Race Telecommunications, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Designer 1 to plan and design fiber optic networks remotely from California. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather project requirements, and create detailed layouts using CAD, Vetro, and Google Earth.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, proven fiber network design experience, and strong CAD skills. We offer a 100% company-paid benefits package, remote work, and competitive hourly compensation of $27–$30.

Experience in fiber optic network design required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements.
Design and plan fiber optic networks using CAD, Vetro, and Google Earth.
Export/import CAD data and maintain maps in CAD and Google Earth.
Ensure compliance with industry standards in fiber network design.
Provide technical support to construction/installation teams during implementation.
Manage project timelines and budget adherence.
