Job summary

Delta Oaks Group in the United States is seeking a Fiber Designer to support underground fiber and OSP projects, including FTTH, long-haul, conduit and duct bank work.

The role uses ArcGIS as the primary GIS platform, AutoCAD for deliverables, and requires experience with OSP fiber design, field data interpretation, and coordination with internal teams. Travel for site walks is expected. This is a remote position.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber OSP design is required.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS or a comparable GIS platform.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Two years' experience in fiber OSP or telecom design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce OSP fiber designs for underground, long-haul, conduit, duct bank, and FTTH projects.
• Develop construction-ready design packages using GIS information and field data.
• Prepare bills of materials and route quantities.
• Perform site walks and field data collection.
• Ensure designs follow Delta Oaks standards and project requirements.
