Job summary

Triad Associates Inc., a division of Concordia Group, seeks an experienced Estimator, Fiber Construction to support growth of fiber projects nationwide. This fully remote role requires travel to bid meetings and site walks up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fiber optic construction.
• Experience responding to RFPs and developing competitive construction proposals.
• Experience reviewing RFPs, scopes of work, construction plans, or bid packages.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, production rates, labor requirements, and project costs.
• Experience with fiber construction for major carriers, utilities, municipalities, or broadband providers.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFPs, bid packages, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, and construction requirements.
• Develop project estimates, pricing, schedules, and resource requirements in coordination with leadership.
• Prepare and submit professional responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost impacts prior to submitting proposals.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership to develop competitive and accurate proposals.
• Participate in customer meetings, bid reviews, scope discussions, and project negotiations as needed.
