Job summary

CooperSurgical is seeking a remote Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with expertise in fertility to advance scientific understanding, engage with KOLs, and support research initiatives across the Americas.

The MSL will provide medical information, train internal teams, and develop educational content while maintaining compliance and collaborating with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing. Travel up to 50% for meetings and conferences.

Qualifications

  • Required: based in the US
  • Preferred: fluent Spanish
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in designing and conducting clinical research, statistics and scientific data interpretation.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain KOL relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a scientific resource to external healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide up-to-date medical information and product knowledge related to CooperSurgical fertility portfolio.
  • Maintain a deep expertise in procedures and emerging evidence related to clinical embryology and fertility.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., commercial, regulatory, legal, R&D).
  • Train internal stakeholders on key scientific topics relevant to CooperSurgical fertility portfolio.
  • Provide fair balanced medical information addressing questions from providers.
  • Respond to Medical Information Requests in a timely manner.
  • Create multimedia scientific educational content for presentations.
  • Conduct literature reviews and assist with publications and medical communications.
  • Report competitive activities and events impacting product use.
  • Facilitate collaborative research and assist in company-sponsored studies.
  • Prepare materials for investigator meetings related to fertility studies.
  • Liaise between company and investigators from inception to publication for IIS and ECR projects.
  • Provide scientific input on study design, protocol development, data interpretation, publication strategy.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with KOLs and thought leaders.
  • Engage KOLs in scientific discussions and gather feedback on products.
  • Collaborate with clinicians on medical affairs initiatives including publications and education.
  • Communicate clinical insights and competitive intelligence to Medical Affairs.
