Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to represent the Fertility portfolio, educate the healthcare community, and drive medical initiatives in the assigned North Central US territory.

The role emphasizes building relationships with KOLs and disseminating current fertility research. This field-based position requires extensive travel and collaboration with US Field Medical and Fertility teams.

Qualifications

• PharmD, PhD, MD, DO and 2+ years of relevant experience. NP/PA and 3+ years may be considered.
• Advanced scientific knowledge and networking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Willingness for extensive travel (80%) including national meetings and international conferences.
• Live within assigned territory or reasonable commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, clinical and educational support to thought leaders and decision makers.
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders as peers with disease insights.
• Disseminate research and medical concepts related to fertility to healthcare professionals.
• Lead Medical Affairs activities in the region coordinating with internal departments and external customers.
• Represent EMD Serono at medical events, programs, meetings and conventions.
• Coordinate with US Medical Fertility Team on medical initiatives regionally and nationally.
• Communicate research concepts and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
• Support Investigator Sponsored Studies and maintain territory profiling and visits records.
• Administer and monitor budget expenditures and ensure compliant use of field materials.
• Extensive travel (80%) to meetings, conferences, and venues.
