Job summary

You will lead a project management team across multiple task areas, manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and deliverables, and drive process improvements to meet FEMA objectives. A PMP certification and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of IT Program Management experience (or commensurate experience).
• Demonstrated experience leading a project involving significant graphics, audio/video, and/or multimedia development.
• Possess a PMI-PMP certification.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with client leadership and stakeholders.
• Clearance Required: US Citizenship is required to attain and maintain a FEMA Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team responsible to manage all task areas.
• Provide hands‑on management for one or more task areas and associated staff resources.
• Manage project scope, schedule, financials, quality, risk, and deliverables using support from the project management team.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to continually improve team performance.
• Champion innovative methods of working to achieve FEMA objectives.
• Conduct project meetings, track team performance, and provide reporting.
