Job summary

Peraton Labs in Reston, Virginia is seeking a mid-level Solutions Architect to join our federal civilian team. You will contribute hands-on in enterprise architecture, support senior leads, and help craft enterprise architectures across cloud, cybersecurity, data/AI, and DevSecOps domains.

The role requires strong technical writing, a track record with FedRAMP/NIST frameworks, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Telework flexibility with travel to customer sites may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise IT solution architecture or related delivery.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical components.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST and federal processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution architecture across federal civilian pursuits.
• Develop architecture components in cloud, security, data/AI, or DevSecOps.
• Support solutioning sessions with capture teams and SMEs.
• Author technical proposal content and diagrams for reviews.
• Create system diagrams, data flows, and transition plans.
• Research technologies and vendor capabilities for solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand mission requirements.
• Evaluate Peraton Labs capabilities and partner tech for proposals.
