Job summary

Corner Alliance is seeking a Project Manager with 6+ years of experience to join our Boulder, CO team. You will lead Federal government PMO activities, manage a consulting team, and coordinate strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and contract management.

You’ll work remotely with a dynamic federal client team, guiding portfolio planning, execution, and quality assurance while driving improvements and ensuring client satisfaction across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6+ years of project management experience
• Experience working with R&D agencies in the Federal government
• Strategic level leadership while producing high‑quality client deliverables
• Portfolio management with total quality management approach
• 2+ years of people management, including career planning and performance reviews
• Direct experience advising senior-level clients on a daily basis
• Receptive to feedback and proactive changes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Problem-solving with flexibility toward stakeholders
• Unflappable attitude amid change or adversity
• US citizenship and ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

Responsibilities

• Lead the established R&D PMO for portfolio management, impact measurement, stakeholder engagement, communications, and leadership support
• Improve PMO processes and introduce efficiencies to the project team
• Build rapport with federal government clients and partners in a fast-paced technical environment
• Identify and implement improvements to organizational processes and tools
• Maintain and improve the PMO's quality assurance program
• Oversee a consulting team’s activities (daily/weekly/monthly) to meet scope, resources, and budget
• Assist with logistics, design, facilitation, and reporting for stakeholder workshops and conferences
• Foster partnerships with industry, academia, and other government organizations
• Provide career development and coaching for team members
• Develop expertise and master required skills in the role
• Drive action planning and implement innovative initiatives
