Job summary

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst with active Secret clearance to support Radiological and Nuclear detection programs for DHS/FEMA. The role emphasizes data analysis, Excel modeling, and program management support in a remote/offsite capacity within the Securing the Cities team.

The candidate will develop data-driven resources, maintain data quality, and communicate findings to diverse audiences while complying with federal guidelines. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• 3-10 years of experience in relevant field.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience working as a government consultant.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support federal, state, local, tribal and territorial agencies in the development, implementation and sustainment of Radiological and Nuclear detection programs and capabilities by providing information resources, processes, facilitation, and guidance on document development and strategic planning and supporting development of plans and procedures.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional logic, and data modeling to support program operations and reporting.
• Validate, clean, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal reporting requirements.
• Provide analytical products to federal and contractor personnel, enabling efficient resource allocation and mission execution.
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows, streamline reporting processes, and enhance data accessibility across the program.
• Maintain documentation of data processes, formulas, dashboards, and reporting standards to ensure continuity and adherence to federal guidelines.
• Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.
• Support in program management and Grants program execution.
• Travel as required.
