Laukaitis Law LLC, a Puerto Rico-based plaintiff-side firm, seeks a full-time paralegal to support federal litigation nationwide in a fully remote setting. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico and have strong document formatting and filing skills, with experience in federal court practice.

You will work closely with attorneys and staff, manage case files, calendars, and discovery, and help improve legal operations in a technology-forward environment while growing professionally.

Formación

• Experience supporting federal court litigation in a law firm setting.
• Strong Microsoft Word formatting skills for pleadings, motions, and exhibits.
• Experience creating tables/TOCs/ authorities for court filings.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Assist attorneys with federal court filings and litigation support.
• Draft, proofread, revise, and format pleadings, motions, exhibits, notices, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Draft complaints for federal court.
• Prepare and maintain tables of contents and tables of authorities for court filings.
• Manage case files, litigation calendars, deadlines, and document organization.
• Coordinate with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and co-counsel to move litigation matters forward.
