Everforth Apex is seeking an Intermediate Information System Security Officer to support a federal government customer. The role focuses on remediation, restoring the security program, and stabilizing the environment, with automation initiatives across about 90 systems.

You will work with system owners and cybersecurity teams to manage security controls enterprise-wide, emphasizing control families and RMF/ATO activities; 100% remote with occasional onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• 7+ years in Information Security or ISSO for federal systems.
• Strong RMF, NIST guidance, and DHS 4300 series knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Execute RMF activities to support ATO decisions.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and Contingency Plans.
• Conduct security control assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Support continuous monitoring and POA&M remediation.
• Produce security artifacts and assist audits and reviews.
