Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Contracts Principal to support the preparation, negotiation, and administration of federal contracts, including FFP and defined-delivery awards. This 100% remote role can be worked from anywhere in the United States and requires strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, proposal support, and financial awareness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in federal contracts/contract management required (per ad).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• FAR/DFARS knowledge and proposal management experience.
• Ability to negotiate and manage multiple contract types (FFP/FPIF).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts through lifecycle with FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Support proposal activities and finalization of awards.
• Negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and balance customer and company priorities.
