Job summary

You will review AI-generated content, identify errors or gaps, and document reprogramming and year-end closeout scenarios with clear rationale for training and evaluation purposes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of federal budget experience at GS-11/12 or higher.
• Experience with budget formulation, budget execution, and funds control.
• Familiarity with OMB submissions, reprogramming, and year-end closeout.

Responsibilities

• Create realistic examples to train AI on federal budget formulation and execution.
• Review AI-generated budget content for accuracy, practical judgment and compliance.
• Explain reasoning clearly to enable training and evaluation.
• Document reprogramming scenarios, approval considerations, and alignment with spend plans.
• Compare actual expenditures with planned obligations and assess fund availability.
• Develop step-by-step year-end closeout examples and reconcile with accounting records.
