Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved OPM/National Training Standards (NTS) investigator program.
• At least 2 years of experience performing background investigations for FEDERAL.
• Must have an Active TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, retrieve records, and prepare reports of investigation.
• Complete record searches at law enforcement agencies and courthouses.
• Meet quality, timeliness, and production metrics for all work assigned.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to synthesize information

Understanding of federal/state/local regulations

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
