Job summary

Commence seeks Board Certified Family Medicine physicians to join its remote reviewer panel in Maryland. You will evaluate medical necessity and quality of care for military members and families, using established guidelines and remote access.

The role is fully remote, contract-based, with per-case pay and flexible workload. Requires active MD license, 5+ years of practice, and telemedicine experience with children.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Board certified in specialty by ABMS/AOA-recognized board.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience.
• Currently practicing and seeing patients at least 20 hours/week.
• Experience treating children via telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote case reviews assessing medical necessity, appropriateness and quality of care.
• Provide evidence-based assessments and written determinations per guidelines.
• Support case types including utilization review, appeals/hearings, quality-of-care concerns.
• Uphold neutrality and objectivity in evaluations.
