Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement healthcare benefit solutions on the Facets platform. This remote US role collaborates with business analysts, claims teams, product owners, operations leaders, QA, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, accurate benefit configurations.

You will analyze benefit requirements, configure components, validate logic (deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums), and support

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience including 4+ years of Facets configuration.
• Strong expertise in Facets configuration, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of benefit design, copays, deductibles, and networks.
• Experience translating business needs into scalable configuration solutions.
• Experience supporting end-to-end testing and production validation.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Business/Healthcare or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze benefit requirements and regulatory mandates to design configurations.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets Benefit components.
• Assess impacts across membership, pricing, and downstream integrations.
• Create configuration docs, mappings, decision logs, and support materials.
• Create and execute testing scenarios for benefit logic (deductibles, copays, coinsurance).
• Troubleshoot defects and partner with teams for production readiness.
