Job summary

P&E Constructors seeks a Fabrication Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for heavy industrial projects in a remote U.S. setting.

You’ll work under a Senior Estimator, translate client requirements into quantity takeoffs, and help validate BOMs/BOQs while ensuring technical compliance and timely delivery. Ideal candidates bring 5–15 years of heavy industrial estimating experience, strong MS Office and Bluebeam proficiency, and solid knowledge of WBS/AWP/CWA/FIWP methods to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–15 years of estimating heavy industrial, energy, infrastructure, data centers, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or oil & gas projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, AWP, CWA, FIWP in estimating and scheduling.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead small estimating teams.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development under the direction of a Senior Lead Estimator.
• Review RFP packages for scope, deliverables, and estimating requirements.
• Develop accurate quantity takeoffs to support project estimates.
• Review and approve client BOMs and BOQs prepared by Estimating Support Staff.
• Evaluate material and subcontractor bid tabs and approve supplier pricing.
• Participate in estimate reviews and validation meetings.
• Assist with completion of client bid forms and proposal documentation.
• Support estimate turnover activities after project award.
• Assist with large change order estimates as needed.
• Apply sound estimating practices to meet proposal deadlines.
• Lead and coordinate small estimating teams when required.
