Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• 5+ years in communications, public relations, journalism, content marketing, media relations, or related discipline.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong interviewing, research and information-gathering capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across an organization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft and coordinate external communications materials, including press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, talking points, and briefing documents.
• Support media outreach efforts, interview preparation, and relationship-building with industry media and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities to increase visibility for SOLV Energy, its projects, and its leaders.
• Proactively identify, develop, and create content that highlights SOLV Energy's people, projects, innovations, partnerships, and industry expertise.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, project teams, and business leaders to surface stories and opportunities.
• Conduct research and interviews to gather information and develop compelling communications content.
• Develop thought leadership articles, project spotlights, and LinkedIn content.
• Translate technical information into clear, compelling content for external audiences.
• Contribute ideas to support long-term storytelling and reputation-building.
• Monitor industry news and prepare reports highlighting trends and reputational considerations.
• Support executive visibility and thought leadership through research, messaging, and event communications.
• Lead content planning, publishing, and performance tracking for LinkedIn.
• Support employee advocacy initiatives with engaging content and results monitoring.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to amplify company announcements and milestones.
• Maintain the external communications editorial calendar.
