Job summary

TopDog Law LLC is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with the President in translating vision into action across law firm operations, strategy, and growth. This fully remote role requires a leader who can align departments, manage priorities, and drive critical initiatives with precision.

You will own planning calendars, coordinate cross-functional projects, and prepare executive communications while upholding culture and accountability in a fast-scaling organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a Chief of Staff, senior operations, management or executive leadership role.
• Proven track record of cross-functional execution in a fast-growing organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong strategic thinking with bias for action.
• High emotional intelligence and political acumen; influence without authority.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-moving environment.
• Outstanding organizational instincts and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Translate company strategy into quarterly priorities, OKRs, and execution plans across all departments.
• Own the President's strategic calendar and allocate time to high-leverage opportunities.
• Track initiatives from kickoff to completion and drive resolution of blockers.
• Prepare board updates, investor communications, and executive off-sites with clear materials.
• Serve as connective tissue across operations, finance, technology, marketing, and people to ensure alignment.
• Lead high-priority cross-functional projects and surface misalignments before escalation.
• Build a rhythm of business with weekly leadership syncs, monthly reviews, and quarterly planning.
• Draft high-stakes communications and manage relationships with key external stakeholders.
• Support executive onboarding and partner with People on org design and headcount planning.
• Lead strategic projects and act as the President's proxy when needed.
