Job summary

Pacira BioSciences, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, HEOR and Value to lead the integrated HEOR and value evidence strategy for marketed products and pipeline assets.

You will define evidence priorities, direct HEOR investments, and ensure rigorous methodology and external communications aligned with payer needs. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Clinical Development, mentor a team, manage external partners, and help shape lifecycle value strategies while

Qualifications

• 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare experience with HEOR/RWE expertise.
• Advanced expertise in HEOR/RWE and outcomes research; product planning/launch experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of payer, reimbursement, and provider economics.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead HEOR strategy and evidence roadmap across marketed products and pipeline assets, aligned with enterprise scientific priorities and product lifecycle needs.
• Oversee economic and real-world evidence studies, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, patient-reported outcomes, disease burden studies, and claims analyses.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Government Affairs, and Clinical Development to align evidence priorities with payer needs.
• Provide strategic guidance on integrating HEOR endpoints into Phase II/III, Phase IV, and postmarketing plans in collaboration with Clinical Development and Market Access.
• Mentor HEOR professionals and manage relationships with external research partners and data vendors.
