Job summary

Better Together in Miami-Dade County seeks an Executive Director to lead and grow the Better Families program across Southeast Florida. You will build partnerships with donors, churches, and community partners while guiding staff, volunteers, and programs with compassion and strategic focus.

The role requires a bachelor's in social work or related field, a master's preferred, and at least five years in child welfare or family services, with three years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in child welfare or with at-risk families.
• Minimum of 3+ years leading and managing a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; master’s preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, networking, and fundraising skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Better Families program in Southeast Florida.
• Develop donor relationships and secure funding for program growth.
• Oversee staff, volunteers, and community partnerships.
• Ensure program compliance, data reporting, and outcomes tracking.
• Represent Better Together at community events, churches, and meetings.
