Job summary

Second Front Systems is seeking a technically credible Solutions Engineer to strengthen our EU commercial organization. You’ll translate architecture decisions into deployable, warfighter-ready capabilities while navigating customer accreditation and deployment timelines.

You will own the technical sales path from discovery through validation and close across EMEA, qualifying opportunities across cloud, security, and deployment fit with credible designs and minimal delivery risk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as solutions engineering or pre-sales.

Responsibilities

• Own technical discovery and qualification for EMEA opportunities across app, infra, security, integration, deployment fit.
• Develop architectures covering cloud, networking, identity, data residency, sovereignty, and security per customer env.
• Deliver demonstrations and proofs of value; run non-production evaluations for vendors and government customers.
• Identify blockers and dependencies; coordinate feasibility with Platform Engineering.
• Support RFI/RFPs; represent Second Front at workshops and events.
• Create reusable demos, reference architectures, and discovery materials; maintain opportunity notes.
• Feed field requirements back to Product/Engineering and hand off after close.
• Collaborate with commercial and Head of EMEA through proposal and procurement; assist technical negotiations.
• Translate accreditation and security requirements into deployment schedules; resolve conflicts with timelines.
