Creative Planning seeks an Estate Planning Paralegal to provide administrative and substantive legal support to its attorneys. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and proactive research, with duties spanning document drafting, client coordination, and billing management.

The candidate will draft plans in HotDocs and may perform in-office signings with oversight. A paralegal credential or degree is preferred, with prior estate planning experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
• Efficient, detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsabilités

• Take on duties from the attorney with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide administrative and substantive support to Creative Planning’s legal team.
• Draft full and substantive plans with documents knowledge as requested by attorney.
• Draft plans in HotDocs.
• May conduct in-office signings with supervision.
• Conduct legal research and synthesize answers to legal questions.
• Monitor statutory changes and relay updates to staff and attorneys.
• Communicate with clients, wealth managers, and financial planners about attorney notes, without practicing law.
• Manage billing reports and calendar.
• Work from home allowed after 90-day training.
