Job summary

Colorado Connections Academy, operated byConnections Education LLC, is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL/EL) Teacher to work from home in Colorado, coordinating with general education teachers to support EL students in a virtual setting.

The role requires Colorado residency, ESL certification for K-12, strong Google Suite skills, and willingness to travel for state testing and related events. Salary starts at $39,600 per year with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Highly qualified to teach ESL in Colorado; valid ESL certification for grades K-12.
• Experience teaching EL students preferred.
• Reside in Colorado; bilingual preferred but not required.
• Strong technology skills, especially with Google Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage instructional programs for EL students in collaboration with general education teachers.
• Consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of instruction.
• Coordinate language proficiency screenings and testing while complying with timelines.
• Travel is required to administer assessments (WIDA/ACCESS, CMAS, PSAT, SAT) and attend events.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support multilingual program and compliance with regulations.
• Deliver virtual instruction using technology and maintain student records and data.
