Job summary

Canals is seeking an Implementation Engineer to connect Canals with ERP systems (Eclipse, P21, Infor) and manage onboarding of distributors. You will configure integrations, validate data flows, and own hands-on work after a customer signs.

You’ll join pre-sale discovery calls, become ERP subject-matter expert, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering. This is a fully remote role with high ownership.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a technical implementation, technical account management, integrations, or customer engineering role at a SaaS company.
• Comfort explaining complex technical concepts to customers.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST endpoints, authentication methods, and JSON payloads.
• Experience with ERPs or a strong desire to learn systems like Eclipse, P21, and Infor in depth.
• Strong communication skills and ability to organize and manage projects.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment with high ownership.
• English proficiency; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement integrations between Canals and ERP partners, using templates and API credentials.
• Become an ERP subject‑matter expert, understanding data handling, access, authentication, and configuration.
• Join pre-sale discovery calls to evaluate feasibility and answer ERP‑specific questions.
• Lead post-sale integration work: collect access details, configure endpoints, test APIs, and validate data flow.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and escalate as needed.
• Document integration steps and best practices for internal and customer use.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth go-live.
• Occasionally cover support (Zendesk) as needed.
