Job summary

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Emergency Medicine physicians at every career stage to serve as subject matter experts for frontier AI models, validating and auditing clinical reasoning. This is a 100% remote, flexible, project-based engagement designed to influence safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale, running July 30 to August 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure ACEP-aligned standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide ground truth for intricate acute emergency cases and triage decisions.
• Safety Oversight: Identify inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could affect patient safety.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on AI-driven clinical decision support tools for acute and emergency care.
