Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking an Equity research Expert on a fully remote basis to contribute to a customer project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling and sector insights. As a contractor, you will apply deep domain knowledge to train next-generation AI systems with high-quality real-world input.

You will review earnings, build and revise models, synthesize benchmarks, and deliver concise research updates that connect qualitative drivers to quantitative outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a sell-side Research Associate or lead Research Analyst, owning company models and written research.
• Track record of covering multiple companies through several earnings cycles with comprehensive models.
• Ability to connect business drivers to financial outcomes and valuation.
• Expertise in at least one sector (e.g., banks, insurance, biotech) to provide deep insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for complex finance concepts.
• History of granular earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research updates.
• Experience formulating and defending investment theses with accountability for research quality.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and contribute to datasets modeling real-world equity research analysis.
• Analyze earnings reports, perform estimate revisions, and synthesize peer benchmarking insights for AI training.
• Deliver detailed written evaluations of company models, including revenue, margin, cash flow, and valuation drivers.
• Produce high-quality, concise written research summaries and event-driven updates based on sector expertise.
• Develop and articulate investment theses connecting qualitative and quantitative factors to actionable perspectives.
• Identify key industry trends, sector-specific metrics, and company catalysts relevant for fundamental analysis.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to provide feedback on data quality and improve research content.
